UT Axonometrics

Alfred Noble’s quote says that “similarities and differences are the basis of all human knowledge”, this axonometric tries to show this through the differences and similarities in the spaces, they are all different height, widths and lengths, but they all have similar lighting, some of them have different methods of entry, some have the same. The canter levered stairs are used to join many areas as they are made up of many pieces and represent the idea that there is so much human knowledge.

Keith Campbell’s quote “I just want to know how everything works” suggests a sense of searching, so for this axonometric there are lots of intersecting shapes with separate rooms in them, they are connected by long stair ways or ramps so there is a sense of anticipation and searching in traveling from one room to another. There are also a number of intriguing, intricate features such as the light boxes to create a sense of the details and intricate knowledge you need to “know how everything works”.
